《远和近》（為大提琴獨奏與漢字書法而作）
Far, Near, for solo cello and Chinese calligraphy
《遠和近》是一首大提琴獨奏作品，其靈感源自於中國朦朧派詩人顧城的同名詩作。這首作品借用了詩中的意象——“你”、“我”和“雲”來探討“距離”這一主題，並運用多種大提琴演奏技巧，在音樂中音樂延展了這種意象，營造出一種朦朧而感性的氛圍與深層的詩意。而在理性層面上，作曲家在創作中巧妙地將漢字的楷書筆畫整合成特定的音高系統，以“弓”代“筆”，以大提琴手代為執筆者“書寫”這首詩，是跨文化與藝術領域的一次嘗試。
該作品被提名為2024-2025年度香港中文大學中國文化研究所莫慶鏘獎學金。
Far and Near is a solo cello piece inspired by the same name poem by Chinese misty poet Gu Cheng. This composition uses the imagery of “you,” “I,” and “clouds” from the poem to explore the theme of “distance.” The music extends this imagery through various cello techniques, creating a misty, emotive atmosphere with profound poetic depth. On a more conceptual level, the composer skillfully integrates the regular script strokes of Chinese characters into a specific pitch system, with the cello bow representing the brush and the cellist acting as the calligrapher, “writing” the poem in music. This piece is a unique cross-cultural and interdisciplinary endeavor.
The composition has been nominated for the 2024-2025 ICS Mok Hing Cheong Postgraduate Scholarship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Sailing Leaf, for oboe, clarinet, and horn, won the David Gwilt Composition Award and was premiered by the ensemble-in-residence at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Lee Hysan Concert Hall (2023).

Stardust, for SATB choir and piano, in collaboration with renowned poet Lang Leav, had its world premiere at the Radke Fine Arts Theatre of the University of Central Oklahoma, performed by the UCO Chamber Choir and conducted by the renowned conductor Karl Nelson (2020). Its China premiere took place at the Music Hall of South China Normal University, performed by the South China Normal University Choir (2020).

Rosefinch: Composed for orchestra, Chinese chamber ensemble, and Dasheng Bells. This piece won the first prize in the Golden Bells International Composition Competition for composers under 30. It was premiered by the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra under the renowned conductor Dennis Friesen-Carper at Carnegie Hall, New York City (2022).

Beyond the Sky: Composed for violin, cello, piano, and fixed electronics, this piece was selected by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Toronto for the "New Techniques in Global Collaboration for Musical Performance" project. It was recorded by the Hong Kong Dawning Quartet (2023) and awarded the third prize in Group B at the 2023 MUSICACOUSTICA-HANGZHOU Electroacoustic Music Composition Competition. The piece was selected for the 2024 Asian Classical Music Initiative (ACMI) and premiered in the U.S. at Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles, as well as for the 2024 International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) with its Asian premiere at Hanyang University, South Korea (2024).
