鄭氏的作品汲取了他的中國文化身份，積極將傳統主題和民間素材與當代創新表達手法相結合，創造出個人獨特的音樂語言，作品多數反映了近現代中國的人文特色與精神內涵。

鄭氏的主要作品有：《朱雀》（為三件民族樂器、交響樂團與大晟新鐘而作）在金編鐘國際作曲比賽中榮獲冠軍金獎（2022），並由美國亞洲文化交響樂團在美國紐約卡內基音樂廳首演；《蔚藍深處的時間膠囊》（為大編制民族樂團而作）入選香港2025年《心樂集》，並榮獲「觀眾最喜愛作品」獎，由香港中樂團世界首演；《虛實嶺南》（為中國民族交響樂團而作）入選香港《心樂集》25週年（2024），由香港中樂團首演；《春之息》（為打擊樂四重奏而作）榮獲香港作曲家聯會「2024音樂新一代作曲比赛」冠軍，由M.A.R.B.L.E.S.打擊樂團首演，並由香港電台一號錄播室錄制，香港電台第四台首播與重播（2024）；《天外》（為鋼琴三重奏與固定電子樂而作）獲選香港中文大學與多倫多大學「全球音樂演出的新技術協作」項目（2023），同時於中國杭州第一屆國際電子音樂節B組作品決賽中榮獲三等獎，《天外》也入選了2024年國際計算機音樂大會（ICMC）音樂會作品，以及2024年美國古典音樂倡議論壇（ACMI），並展演於韓國首爾漢陽大學與美國洛杉磯聖瑪利亞山大學；《一葉扁舟》（為雙簧管、單簧管與圓號而作）獲香港中文大學David Gwilt作曲獎，首演於香港中文大學利希慎音樂廳（2023）；《三說》（為琵琶與大提琴而作）收錄於音樂CD《ASA》並在美國出版（2020）；《二十八星宿》（幻聽電子樂作品）世界首演於美國中俄克拉荷馬大學Radke Fine Arts Theatre（2021），曾展演於香港賽馬會演藝劇院（2021），並獲選入2021亞洲電子音樂國際論壇，於深圳大學中國內地首演（2022）。

Zheng's compositions draw from his Chinese cultural identity, actively integrating traditional themes and folk materials with contemporary innovative expressions to create a unique musical language. His works often reflect the humanistic characteristics and spiritual essence of modern China.

Zheng's major compositions include: Rosefinch (for three traditional Chinese instruments, orchestra, and Dasheng Bells), which won the Gold Prize at the Golden Bells International Composition Competition (2022) and was premiered at Carnegie Hall in New York by the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra of the USA; The Time Capsule in the Azure Depths (for large Chinese ensemble) was selected for 2025 "Music from the Heart" series and awarded the "Audience's Favorite Original Work" prize, and premiered by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra; The Blurred Reality of Lingnan (for Chinese symphony orchestra), which was selected for the 25th anniversary of  "Music from the Heart" series (2024) and premiered by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra; Breath of Spring (for percussion quartet), which won first prize at the "2024 New Generation Composition Competition" organized by the Hong Kong Composers' Guild, premiered by the M.A.R.B.L.E.S. Percussion Ensemble, recorded in RTHK Studio One, and broadcast on RTHK Radio 4 (2024); Beyond the Sky (for piano trio and fixed electronics), which was selected for the "New Techniques in Global Collaboration for Musical Performance" project between CUHK and the University of Toronto (2023), awarded Third Prize in Group B at the 1st Hangzhou International Electronic Music Festival, and selected for performances at the 2024 International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) and the 2024 American Classical Music Initiative Forum (ACMI), with exhibitions at Hanyang University in Seoul and Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles; Sailing Leaf (for oboe, clarinet, and horn), which won the David Gwilt Composition Prize at CUHK and premiered at CUHK's Lee Hysan Concert Hall (2023); Three Talks (for pipa and cello), included in the music CD ASA and published in the USA (2020); Twenty-Eight Mansions (for fixed electronics), which premiered at the Radke Fine Arts Theatre of the University of Central Oklahoma (2021), was exhibited at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre (2021), and selected for the 2021 International Forum on Asian Electronic Music, with its mainland China premiere at Shenzhen University (2022).

鄭氏在創作領域的成績曾獲美國俄克拉荷馬州當地媒體、廣東省音樂家協會、中國藝術報、中國文藝網、南方日報、汕頭市電視台、汕頭電台等媒體的報道與讚譽，所創作和參與的作品和項目曾在美國紐約卡內基音樂廳、香港文化中心、香港中樂團演奏廳、香港電台、廣州大劇院、美國中央俄克拉荷馬大學Radke Fine Arts Theatre與Mitchell Hall Theatre、香港中文大學利希慎音樂廳、浙江音樂學院音樂廳、華南師範大學音樂廳及室內樂廳等知名藝術場所展演。

Zheng's achievements in the field of composition have been reported and praised by various media outlets, including local media in Oklahoma USA, the Guangdong Provincial Musicians' Association, Chinese Arts News, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC), Southern Daily, Shantou TV, and Shantou Radio. The compositions and projects he has composed and participated in have been showcased at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra's Concert Hall, Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), the Guangzhou Opera House, the Radke Fine Arts Theatre and Mitchell Hall Theatre at the University of Central Oklahoma, the Lee Hysan Concert Hall at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Concert Hall at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, and the Concert Hall and Chamber Music Hall at South China Normal University.

  The Time Capsule in the Azure Depths, for large Chinese ensemble, was selected for 2025 Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra "Music from the Heart" event and awarded the "Audience's Favorite Original Work" prize.

• 作品《春之息》（為打擊樂四重奏而作）榮獲香港作曲家聯會「音樂新一代 2024 音樂會」冠軍。

  Breath of Spring, for percussion quartet, won the first prize at the "2024 New Generation Composition Competition" organized by the Hong Kong Composers' Guild.

• 獲香港中文大學文學院提名，榮獲香港中文大學「人才發展獎學金」以表彰優異的音樂藝術成果。

  Nominated by the Department of Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and awarded the "Talent Development Scholarship" to recognize outstanding achievements in music.

• 獲得香港中文大學中國文化研究所莫慶錫獎學金，並進行書法與音樂相關課題的研究。

  Received the ICS Mod Hing Cheong Postgraduate Scholarship sponsored by the Institute of Chinese Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and will be undertaking musical composition and research projects related to Chinese calligraphy and music.

  Sailing Leaf, for oboe, clarinet, and horn, won the David Gwilt Composition Award and was premiered by the ensemble-in-residence at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Lee Hysan Concert Hall (2023).

• 《朱雀》（為交響樂團、中國民族室內樂與大晟編鐘而作）榮獲金編鐘國際作曲大獎賽30歲及以下組別冠軍，由亞洲文化交響樂團與著名指揮家Dennis Friesen-Carper首演於美國紐約卡內基音樂廳（2022）

  Rosefinch, for orchestra, Chinese chamber ensemble and Dasheng bells (2022), awarded the Grand Prize winner in the Golden Bells International Composition Contest in the age 30 and younger division, premiered by the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra of the U.S.A. in Carnegie Hall, New York City (2022).

• 談中國民族元素在流行歌曲中的運用 —— 以《女兒情》為例；獨立作者：發表於 2017 年 7 月；《黃河之聲》期刊。

  Published the article, Discussion on the Chinese Musical Materials in Popular Songs — Taking "Nv Er Qing" as an example, in the Chinese journal, Song of the Yellow River (2017).

• 電腦製作在音樂領域中的地位與作用；獨立作者：發表於 2017 年 6 月；《北方音樂》期刊。

  Published the article, The Important Role of Computer Production in the Music Field, in the Chinese journal, Song of the Yellow River (2017).

• 鋼琴彈唱作品集（兒童篇）；音樂編輯（主編：徐越湘）；發表於 2017 年 8 月；河北出版傳媒集團；河北少年兒童出版社。

  Served as the music editor of a piano textbook for children, making scores and arranging children’s songs (2017).

• 2017 年主持華南師範大學學校級課題《大學校園歌曲創作實踐與研究》，並完成結題。

  Directed a university-level project entitled "Practice and Research of Song Writing on Campus" (2017).

• 2019 年作為《非物質文化遺產傳統技藝類舞台作品創作研究 —— 以香雲紗染整技藝為例》項目成員參與「挑戰杯」課題競賽，並榮獲校級特等獎第一名。

  As a member of the project, Research on the Creation of Stage Works Based on Traditional Skills of Intangible Cultural Heritage - Taking the Xiangyunsha Dyeing Technique as an Example, participated in the 'Challenge Cup' competition and won the first place in the special award at SCNU.

舞蹈音樂製作

Dance Music Production

• 2018 年 10 月舞蹈音樂作曲《海椰林》獲廣東省第四屆大學生舞蹈比賽決賽專業組二等獎。

  Composed dance music, Sea Coconuts Forest, won the second prize in the professional group of the final of the fourth Guangdong University Student Dance Competition in October 2018.

• 2019 年為廣東外語外貿大學校園藝術團創作舞蹈音樂《黎婺印記》獲得第十四屆廣東大學生舞蹈大賽業餘組第一名。

  Composed dance music, Marks of Lizi, for the campus art troupe of Guangdong Foreign Studies University, winning first place in the amateur group of the 14th Guangdong University Student Dance Competition in 2019.

• 2019 年參與《粵舞中華》非遺舞蹈研創成果中的舞蹈音樂製作，展演於廣州大劇院

  Participated in the dance project of the non-heritage dance research and innovation achievements of the project, Yue Wu Zhonghua, performed at Guangzhou Opera House in 2019.
